NEED TO KNOW
E O E (Extra Ordinary Events)
- heavy rain
- large pool party – heavy pool use
Dealing with these EOE’s is simple and effective – “SPRITZ” your pool by adding 1 gallon of household bleach for every 10,000 gallons of water that your pool holds – your pool will be refreshed after a 16 – 24 hour rest – then vacuum the pool if needed
QUARTERLY
“SPRITZ” your pool by adding 1 gallon of household bleach for every 10,000 gallons of water that your pool holds – your pool will be refreshed after a 16 – 24 hour rest – then vacuum the pool if needed
Disk Calculation
The calculation for the GPS is simply 1 disk per 5,000 gallons of water. EXAMPLE: If your pool is a 15,000 gallon pool, you will need 3 disks. If your pool is a 28,000 gallon pool, you will need 6 disks.
Duration
Disks should be changed out every 3 months
Opening and closing
When closing up the pool for the season, SPRITZ the pool following the above calculation and vacuum. Insert new disks and cover for the winter. When you open for the next season, SPRITZ the pool and insert new disks.
